Crucial webhosting looks like it is backed up by some cutting edge technology.
From a tech standpoint we at GazelleHost look up to Crucial and think they are a good option for startups relying on high performance shared hosting, for hosting apps or high traffic blogs, however the price is at a premium. For a similar monthly cost you may consider a GazelleHost Virtual Private Server - which give you total flexibility and much more performance (however a slightly steeper learning curve).
In addition to this, GazelleHost offers a lot more in terms of your hosting growth potential with more than one website which can be hosted, as well as a free domain.
Bottom-line? Crucial (also known as Crucial Paradigm) is a very interesting and appealing option utilising new technology - the plans also offer as much as 50GB of disk space, however this comes at a cost (more than 4x the amount we charge).
Crucial has good reviews online. We found that they do not support CloudFlare CDN Railguns® (dynamic content caching) which we believe is a big advantage for ecommerce websites.
As of 2016, with GazelleHost you also receive a free domain name, so the cost saving is really significant.
